It is a pleasure to have you visit the web page for Christian Counseling Services.  My name is Allen Waugh and I am recognized by the state of Kentucky as a LPCC (Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor).  I am a graduate of Cincinnati Christian University with an MA in Counseling.  I have been in private practice for 10 years.

My counseling is biblical in nature, meaning that I use the bible extensively in counseling.  I also use other counseling interventions that are applicable to the Bible.  At Christian Counseling we do not beat you over the head with the Bible, but we use it to teach and encourage people back to health. The most used method of treatment as CCS is Cognitive Therapy, but depending on the client, other methods of treatment may be used.

Christian Counseling Services believes that God has laid down certain principles for life and when those principles are followed we can live a healthy and productive life.  My goal is to help you get back on track and stay on track in your relationship with God, which I believe will result in you having a better and more productive life. Although the counseling at CCS is Christian in nature, I am willing to work with anyone whose heart is open to biblical truths.

I specialize in the areas of depression & anxiety, grief & loss, and marital & pre-marital therapy and spiritual issues.  I have been successful with individuals who are going through such life adjustments.

I work mainly with adults, but on occasions, I will work with adolescents.
